It's starting to get cold in December, but there was always something happening at LCS...

Hong and his friends spent two days' holiday at LCS in early December. They went to fish, BBQ, played some card games, and enjoyed a relaxing break from work.

The beach was still full of action. The Kiteboard Tour Asia was hosted at Cheung Sha, and one day we saw over 20 kites in the sky! Besides, we also had Alza coming back to learn windsurfing, and of course there were also a few good days with nice wind for us to enjoy.

Although the temperature has dropped a bit, we still found it warmer by the beach than in the city most of the time, which made here a perfect location for a family day out. We had here the Rushton family, who arranged an overnight visit for their daughter and her friends. Max and Louis were always our beach regulars and they enjoyed beach bowling so much! Brad's family came from all the way from London and enjoyed so much of the sunshine on the beach.

We also celebrated our X'mas with friends, which we arranged a cozy BBQ and some fun games for everyone to share.

Allan and his friends came to LCS today and celebrated their graduation. Not only were they prepared to go into the water, they were also ready to become a culinary master! Today they joined our pizza class, and were involved in every step from kneading the dough, to preparing and arranging the ingredients. At the end of the day, everyone could enjoy the freshly baked pizzas created by their own hands, which were exceptionally yummy!

After one whole week of non-stopping high wind, the North monsoon finally started to lessen a bit on Sunday. Today, the windsufers from Stanley came early in the morning, hoping to enjoy one more day of good windsurfing after their adrenalin-pumping session the day before. The beautiful sunshine and the perfect North wind shone the day!

We got eight good wind days in two weeks' period in mid November. The monstrously big north wind started to blow from Nov 13. Throughout the whole week, the wind was between 30-60 knots, meaning that we mostly used sails between 3.7 and 4.5 sq.m. Same as ever, the hardcore condition did not discourage our brave-hearted sailors. Among all, Matt must be one of the luckiest guys, coz he could spend almost the whole week here, combating the hi-wind, trying his new sail and grasping all the fun!

Bigger campground, new gear, new storage area and new place for get-together - there's always something new at LCS that attracts you to come back for more.

The second phase of our campground extension has nearly completed and the whole place is a lot bigger and definitely more comfortable. The newly-built charcoal BBQ pit is of course one great attraction - which now guests can enjoy more of outdoor cooking in this relaxing beachfront environment!

While all Halloweeners were meant to the spooky and scary-looking at night, during day time, they could still be happy-spirited and fun-seeking! A group of happy folks gathered at LCS and dressed themselves up in fun "Halloween" style this afternoon. They enjoyed a beachfront barbecue and participated in various Halloween games! There was no horror but simply fun at all!

Peter and his friends came to LCS for an afternoon BBQ today. They listened to music, they danced, and then they started their very own live African drum performance. Everyone moved their bodies to the rhythm of the unique beats, and all enjoyed a relaxing afternoon here.

Ian and Mindy completed our windsurf lessons two weeks ago. Today they came back for some windsurf practice - and brought some more friends here as well. Three newbies enthusiastically started their first windsurf exploration, and thanks to the perfect wind condition, all could easily grasp the essentials and set sails quite successfully. Great to see Mindy's triumphant performance today, especially when she could do beautiful tacks all the time!

Alan organized an outing with his neighbours during this Chung Yeung Festival. The group of twenty enjoyed camping and making hotpot at night. The next day they started their morning exercise by participating in our kayak exploration. The most interesting part had to be when they were asked to jump into the water and get back to the kayak all by themselves - getting wet was definitely enjoyable!

Peggy and her friends celebrated the Chung Yeung Festival as well as their graduation here at LCS.

It was the Chung Yeung Festival in Hong Kong and a lot of people came and spent their long weekend here at LCS. Comme and her family and friends simply enjoyed a kayak exploration and it was great to see her two girls enjoying the paddling much!

It's been a long-awaited holiday for Ian and Mindy as they had planned this windsurf vacation for four months. Good for them was the surprise visit from Ian's brother, Gonzalo. The three of them joined our windsurf class and had good fun during their visit here.

After a busy mid-autumn Saturday night, the light North wind on Sunday morning was able to bring some fun for the wind lovers. Not only did we windsurf, but also sailed on a Hobie which was a great experience!

At night, the LCS team finally could sit down, relax ourselves and enjoyed a cozy BBQ, and here came the craziest idea - to go on windsurfing in a full moon night! The team of six set up some beginner gears, put on fluorescent rings everywhere, and and off we went! The north wind blew stronger and stronger and we could even plan on 4m beginning sails. What an exciting night!

Jeff and his friends came to LCS for a fun kayak exploration. After listening on the instructor's explanation, the group of ten swarmed into the sea and began their very first kayak experience. At the end of the day, some were exhausted, some couldn't stop, but all in all, it was one kayak journey that everyone enjoyed.

Our heart was lightened when we saw the beautiful weather. Once again it was a busy weekend with many people returned for windsurf practice. Glad to meet Benjamin and the team who camped at our place and enjoyed kayaking a lot!

Chantal's boy turned ten this weekend, and she was keen to organizing a surf party for the birthday boy. Twelves kids came today and enjoyed a surfing exercise which they found it educational yet entertaining!

Meanwhile, a belated birthday party was held by Carrie for her friends in the evening. She booked our place early in June but couldn't come due to typhoons. The group finally could make it and enjoyed a beautiful evening BBQ get-together.

Ah Pong kayaked with his friends one few weeks ago, and this time he brought some other friends to join our kayak trip again and celebrated his friend's birthday.

At the same time, Katrina and her friends enjoyed a cozy BBQ while participating in various watersports during their stay these two days!

After challenging themselves with our kayak trip and enjoying some good surfing a few weekends ago, Johnny and his friends visited LCS the third time this summer. The wind today was just perfect for their windsurf practice. What a fun-seeking group who enjoyed all sorts of watersports!

On the other hand, Fanny and her friends were first time visitors, but also enjoyed a lot of kayaking and windsurfing while staying with us at our Safari tent.

What a surprise to meet Hermia again, as I couldn't recognize her name until I saw her, who used to visit LCS during our early years with some other friends. Today she was the organizer of the kayaking trip to Shui Hou, which the team paddled hard, and of course were very satifised of their rewards!

There are some guests at LCS who have already become our friends. Meet the Kerrs' family again, who have spent so much time at LCS; and today Kenji gave little Lewis a big throw up the sky!

Not to mention Frankie and his friends, who have always been the LCS regulars for all sorts of watersports, or just for some relaxing time.

Christine's fondness to LCS has not been just by herself, but the whole family as well. This summer, her daughter, Vivian, worked with us and brought us so much joy and energy. The family had a friendly barbecue with our team, which was truly a relaxing night.

Chantel and her family have come to LCS since our first year, and even now she has become a big girl, she still enjoyed all sorts of watersports with us. Today she tried on the windsurf board, which she did great!

We were so happy to meet Wing and her friends. The friendly bunch enjoyed kayaking in the afternoon, prepared their hot pot dinner in the evening with much fun; the next day they relaxed on the beach, and took a lot of photos before they left. By the way, I like their "Rilakkuma" floating aid so much!
