Feynman invited four families of 16 people to visit LCS this weekend. For the very small ones, there was nothing better than simply playing on the sand; for the girls and the mothers, resting on the rings seemed relaxing enough; while for the young and adventurous, kayak surfing and body boarding on the big big waves was so much exciting - there are always something for everyone!

July has arrived! Looking forward to a beautiful summer!

Caca joined her friends to go midnight hiking to Lantau Peak. The group arrived at LCS early next morning, resting a bit on the beach, and enjoyed a rewarding BBQ in the afternoon. Meanwhile, June and her friends returned to LCS again for a lot of watersports and camping fun.

And good to see Ah Chiu and his mates back to the beach in summer and practiced windsurfing again, as well as a group of keen kayakers equipping themselves for their upcoming race!

The Charreaus, the Rebillats, the Consignys and the Kerrs families enjoyed their visit to LCS despite the rain! Resting and chit-chatting on the sunchairs, enjoying a bit of light waves on the paddle boards and kayaks, playing TV games (very atypical on the beachside LOL!), they had their own ways to enjoy their holidays!

Ah Pong kayaked with his friends one few weeks ago, and this time he brought some other friends to join our kayak trip again and celebrated his friend's birthday.

At the same time, Katrina and her friends enjoyed a cozy BBQ while participating in various watersports during their stay these two days!

This weekend, we got lots of visitors. The Wardles and the Mains came to enjoy their holidays, and the kids loved watersports so much that they even woke up at 7:00 am to start skimboarding.

Our old pals, Frankie & his friends, returned again for some windsurfing. They sampled our famous pizzas and enjoyed the sunny weekend on the beach.

Meanwhile, there were some waves on Cheung Sha this Saturday - a perfect time for Calvin and Kay to start their first surf lesson!

The Tropical Depression brought in some nice waves at Cheung Sha. Look at Carlos - in three years he has turned from a small boy who just started to surf, to now that he can surf so well. Surfing is indeed a fun sport for all ages. Check out when Little Carlos Learnt to Surf in 2006.

Another scene was Elise and her friends coming to LCS and enjoying some special birthday feast - a delicious birthday cake and a lot of fat and juicy clams!

July is a busy month at LCS with all kinds of beach lovers coming to enjoy the beautiful weather.

Enjoying the surf? Although the waves have been gentle - but Alice and her friends enjoyed their first surf and had much fun. In fact the group of five had planned to come to and learn surfing one month before, just that the wave was not developed well. The other team, William and Amy, also took a lesson this weekend. Hope that they will continue to practise!

LCS is also a place where people meet. This week, we had Lauren and family coming to say farewell to her friends, for the family was about to move to Boston to start their new page of life. On the other side, Jacky and his friends enjoyed their holiday with a BBQ feast and lots of activities!

Everyone was expecting as the waves this year really came too late! Normally starting every May or June, the first surf finally came slowly in the last week of June. A lot of surfers just couldn't wait to get into the water!

The waves started to pick up this week, but it was still weak - only the kids could have some fun! However, we did have two good days of unexpected south-westerly wind. What a surprise!

Our motto - you can do it all, or do nothing at all!

Kei san and his friends are first time paddlers. Today, with a bit of warm up exercise, they were already ready to challenge themselves in this new sport. After that, what could be better than treating themselves a tasty BBQ lunch, and enjoy some surfing in the afternoon!

The waves these weeks have been mild - perfect for kids! Nonetheless, it was also the perfect weather for the whole families to enjoy their holidays!

Summer's back! There are lots of reasons to come to the beach again! Some came for a bit of action, some enjoyed a bit of relaxation; some came back for gastronomic satisfactions, while some would like to meet new friends!

They got wet, but they enjoyed it. 19 little kids took turns to go into the water and learnt surfing. It didn't take them long to be able to get the basic techniques, and they were thrilled with the newly acquired skills to balance themselves on the soft boards - sometimes only for a while and OOPS, SPLASH! they fell into the water with laughters. They were eager to get up and give it another try.

It was a 'birthday present' shared among friends in the sea, and in the rain. The joyous mood was in no way dampened by the bad weather!

It was raining, but who cares? What a good time for surfing, skim-boarding, body-boarding, kayak surfing, and of course, making new friends!

The sea has been quite wavy due to the south westerly monsoon as well as the formation of the Severe Tropical Storm Bilis. It was definitely good time for the wave riders. Not only was it fun to surf, it was also fun to spectate!

This year, the waves at LCS arrived late, but the kids still experienced the joy of surfing today. There were just small swells, but it was already good enough for the kids to practise. With their parents giving them a hand and a push, the kids could easily stand on the board and have a really good time.

Our little friends Duncan, Yoyo, Ka-wan, Tin-wai & Tin-ho came to visit us again. There were some swells out there and they enjoyed a lot of the time on bodyboarding. Although it was a bit cool these days, the children still spent much time in the water and enjoying the outdoor environment. At night we had BBQ together, and the kids had some kind of our old-fashioned games like guessing the names of the movies. What a fun-filled night!
